Every story has a beginning
Guillem Bauzà Ramis, Toni’s great-grandfather, bought Son Cuixa, our estate. Toni’s grandmother, Francisca Bauzà Mascaró, inherited it some years later. She was passionate about working the fields. Together with some other estates, they grew cereals and vegetables. They also had five cows.
We launch a new collaborative project together with other farmers: Reis de Mallorca
We intend to go international and to make the most of the synergies among small-scale producers. We also participate in international fairs, such as BIOFACH, in Nüremberg, where we have obtained several quality hallmarks.
We implement new technologies from a respectful perspective
Antoni Galmés decided to create a website and contacted Estudi Llimona to develop it. Tarek Serraj has taken on the pictures. Apaema offers us agronomists’ help in order to install humidity sensors, so that we can continue to make efficient use of water, which has become a scarce resource in recent times.
Our goal
So far we have told you how we got here and what we do, but... where would we like to go?
We would like to become leading models of organic olive oil production and agroecology. We like to add on to small things’ value. Instead of industrial and repetitive production, we prefer respecting our land and the resources we have. Becoming rich is not our goal. Our goal is to add to Mallorca’s value and to give back to earth a part of what it gives us.
